Zion Lutheran Church - Mount Pulaski, IL

Just beyond Lincoln, IL lies the small town of Mount Pulaski, population 1,700.  P.J. Hoerr along with Summit Masonry, an affiliated company of P.J. Hoerr is nearing completion of additions to this over 100 year old church.  This is a fast track design with programming and schematic design starting in June of 2011 and full construction documents ready for competitive bidding by October 3, 2011. The project bids came within P.J. Hoerr's established guaranteed price and construction started November 1, 2011 with a project completion date of September 1, 2012. There are classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and gymnasium added to the south of the existing building.  A Narthex addition for more fellowship space is being added to the west of the current sanctuary. The building consists of wood framed construction, concrete foundations, pre-engineered metal building and VRV HVAC system.
