P.J. Hoerr was recently awarded this $7.5 million, 91,600 square foot Medical Office Building Core and Shell package for Landmark Healthcare Facilities LLC located in Springfield, IL.

Today layout was underway for the concrete caisson installation that will begin soon. Caissons (also sometimes called “piers”) are created by auguring a deep hole into the ground, and then filling it with concrete. Steel rebar reinforcement is then utilized for a portion of the length of the caisson.The caisson foundations carry the building loads at their lower ends.
