On the Wednesdays of May 24th and 31st the
Project Management/Superintendent/Estimator/Executive staffs of the
company met in the morning for a P.J. Hoerr University session entitled
Understanding Construction Company Overhead and Cost Structure. The
various elements of the company's overall cost structure were presented
by CEO Bob Hoerr with the emphasis being on the ways that each member of
the team can help to increase revenue, control costs, advance schedule,
enhance client satisfaction and develop an ownership mentality among
all stakeholders on their projects. The mission of PJH University is “To
promote a culture of learning and idea exchange among the company
operational teams."
