Mike Kreutz - Senior Project Manager

Mr. Kreutz began his professional career in St. Louis with BSI, Inc. Mike worked as an estimator for two years, then chose to leave the office to gain training and first hand experience in the trades as a carpenter. Mr. Kreutz joined P.J. Hoerr in 1991, continuing to utilize his field experience as a carpenter Superintendent. He later took on the additional role as Project Superintendent/Project Manager. While working in that position, Mike estimated, supervised and managed projects. In 1996, Mike moved from the field to the office, resuming duties as an estimator/project manager. Shortly thereafter, Mike joined the P.J. Hoerr Bloomington Office where his duties included estimating, project management, as well as mentoring and training junior project managers and field superintendents. P.J. Hoerr promoted Mike to Director of Project Management for the Bloomington Operations in 2002.

While working for P.J. Hoerr, Mike has been involved in all facets of a construction project, from project acquisition to project close out. His resume of projects includes many in the area of healthcare, as well as churches, schools, office, retail and industrial projects.

Advocate BroMenn Patient Tower Addition, Normal, IL – Project Manager responsible for the construction of this $38 million, four story, 140,000 sq ft hospital wing that houses the hospital’s ICU and Mother/Baby suites. 2012

Methodist North, Peoria, IL – Project Manager responsible for the construction of this $20 million, 3 story, 80,000 sq ft medical office building. 2009

Illinois Medical Center, Peoria, IL – Project Manager for the construction of this $28 million, 5 story, 120,000 sq ft medical office building and 2 story pre-cast parking deck for 359 cars. 2008

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Peoria, IL – Estimator/Project Manager for the complete renovation of this $4 million, 100 year old historical landmark in downtown Peoria, IL. This project also included demolition of part of the administrative area and an 1,800 sq ft addition. 2006

St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington, IL – Project Manager for this $7 million, 30,000 sq ft new church and 8,000 sq ft office addition. This was the second project that P.J. Hoerr completed for the St. Patrick Community. In 1997, P.J. Hoerr added a 12,000 sq ft administrative wing. 2006

OSF St. Joseph Medical Office Building, Bloomington, IL – Asst. Estimator/Project Manager for this $2.26 million, 11,000 sq ft Medical Office Building Facility. 2005

OSF St. Joseph Critical Care Expansion, Bloomington, IL – Estimator/Project Manager for a $1.26 million Interiors Package at their new Critical Care Expansion facility. 2004 / 2005

BroMenn Regional Medical Center Expansion, Bloomington, IL – Estimator/Project Manager for the 30,000 sq ft expansion of the BroMenn Regional Medical Heart Center and the 40,000 sq ft renovation that included a new Emergency Department. This $5.2 million dollar project included many work phases that allowed the hospital to continue providing care during construction. P.J. Hoerr performed both the Phase I – Foundations & Shell Package and Phase II – the Interior Package. 2004
