Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center | Lab Relocation - Normal, IL

PAST PERFORMANCE - In order to upgrade their facility, incorporate state-of-the-art equipment and increase the amount of testing that can be performed for remote clients, Advocate BroMenn decided to relocate their existing medical laboratories to a new and larger location in the lower level of their new Patient Tower. P.J. Hoerr was involved from the beginning of design development to prepare cost estimates, explore design alternatives and assist in the design process.

P.J. Hoerr also incorporated Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the construction process to coordinate very dense mechanical and electrical systems. P.J. Hoerr managed the BIM process, performed “Clash Detection” and coordinated the resolution of the final mechanical layout.
