Gary has a total of 35 years experience in the construction industry. He spent 7 years in residential construction, and the last 25 years in commercial construction as a journeyman carpenter, foreman, and superintendent. Gary has extensive experience with forming concrete, constructing foundations and erecting structural steel. He has many years of experience in the healthcare field. His carpentry skills, commitment to detail, and ability to solve problems result in smooth running projects and satisfied clients.

JC Proctor Endowment Home, Peoria, IL – Project Superintendent for the construction of approximately $4 million in construction upgrades throughout this long term care facility. Projects include construction of two new cafes, a $700,000 entrance lobby upgrade and numerous improvements to the independent living apartments and public areas. 2013
Zion Lutheran Church, Mt. Pulaski, IL – Project Superintendent responsible for the construction of this 14,000 sq ft addition and 6,000 sq ft remodel. 2012
Town and Country Medical Office Building, Eureka, IL - Project Superintendent responsible for the construction of this 12,000 sq ft medical office building. 2011
BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL – From 2003 to 2008, Gary worked as a foreman /superintendent on numerous projects. These projects included
operating room upgrades, construction of the café, installation of MRI
imaging equipment along with many other projects.

John C. Proctor Endowment Home - 2013 Additions and Modernization Projects - Peoria, IL
The new administrator and the Home’s board decided that the facility was in need of modernization, updating and improvements. P.J. Hoerr was brought in to assemble a design/build team to plan, design and construct the improvements. The projects include construction of two new and very popular cafes, total reconstruction of the front entrance and lobby and numerous updating and redecorating projects throughout the facility. Projects yet to start include remodeling of the skilled nursing dining room, remodeling of the skilled nursing center and remodeling of the independent living apartments and hallways.
