Peoria Area Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Center (JATC) & National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) - Bartonville, IL

PAST PERFORMANCE - The Peoria Area Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Center (JATC), offers three different specialties in electrical work: Inside Wireman, Residential Wireman, & Telecommunications Installer-Technicians. In addition to receiving skill training on the job, each apprentice is provided with trade related classroom training that produces competency and pride that lead to true craftsmanship. This new 20,900 sq ft facility consists of a workshop, training classrooms and administrative offices.

Adjacent to JATC is the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) facility. They handle the collective bargaining for all the union electrical contractors in Central Illinois. They also put on educational seminars for the contractors to keep them all up on the latest technology and trends. Finally they promote the union electrical contracting industry.
