On September 13th, P.J. Hoerr, Summit Masonry and Farmer's Insurance held
their annual golf outing to benefit this worthy mission. The Peoria-Area
business community came together to play 18 holes of golf at Lick Creek in
Pekin, IL. Lunch was served and some
great raffle prizes were handed out.
P.J. Hoerr and Summit feel privileged and
honored to be able to host this magnificent event each year and are grateful to
all who turned out to support it.
PAST PERFORMANCE - The ten doctors of the Illinois Eye Center are providing their services in this 45,700 square foot facility on the north edge of Peoria. This medical office building was designed from the ground up to be very efficient from a business standpoint while being open and inviting from a patient perspective. The ground floor houses over 40 exam lanes and numerous other diagnostic rooms. A separate LASIK procedure suite with pre and post-operative care facilities is included along with an AAAASF (American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc) accredited operating suite. A special ten lane pediatric suite also occupies the west side of the lower level. A modern retail optical store and laboratory is positioned in the center of the building.
The second floor houses the business, information technology, human resource and administrative offices. The well-landscaped parking lot provides 277 on-grade parking spaces for an expected patient load of over 400 people per day. The exterior of the building is designed with prairie style architecture and features two colors of brick and the use of metal panel and cast stone accents. The facility landscaping continues the prairie motif by incorporating prairie grasses and plants.
PAST PERFORMANCE - This 48,000 square foot facility was created as a technology incubator, providing new and exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs wishing to create high technology based businesses. The Peoria Next Innovation Center contains numerous dry laboratories, wet laboratories and business facilities that are available to aid these emerging companies. In addition, the facility will aid these new businesses in acquiring financing and start-up capital. Caterpillar Tractor Company will occupy the third floor of the facility, using it as a major training center.
A large collaboration of major Peoria area businesses and institutions joined together to develop and create the center. They include Bradley University, the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Caterpillar, Methodist Medical Center, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, National City Bank, Illinois Central College, and The Heartland Partnership.
