Joe Hart - President & COO
Since 1976, Mr. Hart has been involved
in nearly every aspect of the construction industry. He worked his way through
college as a residential carpenter and then became a commercial construction
superintendent and a project manager. Mr. Hart then held increasingly
responsible positions as a division manager and in 2003 was named President
of P.J. Hoerr.

Mr. Hart has been involved in hundreds
of projects ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to over $30 million. He
is an expert in resolving constructability issues and providing
value-engineering options to reduce project costs. In addition, Mr. Hart brings
expertise in concrete construction, carpentry, masonry and labor/management
issues. In 2002, Mr. Hart served as the president of the Greater Peoria
Contractors Association and has been the lead union contract negotiator since
that time.
In 2012 Mr. Hart was named TRICON's Construction Person of the Year.
Mr. Hart is currently responsible for all field operations, cost estimating and project management. In addition to his responsibilities at P.J. Hoerr, Mr. Hart is also president of Summit Masonry and Benchmark Cabinets & Millwork. These two firms are subsidiary companies of P.J. Hoerr.

Gabriel Rodriguez - Senior Estimator
Mr. Rodriguez began his career as a Project Manager for Turner Construction in Chicago, IL. While working in Chicago he gained tremendous experience by working on several complex projects including Northwestern University Ford Engineering Design Center, the Robert H. Lurie Medical Center, the University of Chicago Center for Biomedical Discovery, and the Block 37 CTA Tunnel Connection. His responsibilities included preparing the GMP and lump sum estimates, as well as serving on the project teams during the construction of the buildings.
In early 2008, Gabe joined the P.J. Hoerr team as an estimator. His previous experience working on large multifaceted projects provided valuable insight for conceptual estimating, GMP budgeting, and the construction management delivery method. His resume of projects includes many in the area of healthcare, medical research, higher education, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. To add to his busy schedule, Gabe also serves as a part-time professor for the Civil Engineering and Construction Department at Bradley University, instructing in Estimating, Scheduling, and Emerging Technologies.

Parsons Company, Inc. - Roanoke, IL - Goodfield Phase I
PAST PERFORMANCE - P.J. Hoerr has completed construction of this 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility for
Parsons Company. This Pre-Engineered Building by Star Building Systems includes 7
ft high poured concrete walls, 4 truck loading docks, an office/storm
shelter
area, equipment wash and paint bays and an overhead crane system. This
project also included utility work; storm sewer,
sanitary sewer, water and electric service to support the building. In
addition there is 200,000 square feet of concrete paving and some
landscaping.

First United Methodist Church - Peoria, IL
When lightning struck the bell tower at First United Methodist Church, Summit Masonry was called in to remove and repair the block on the roof of the bell tower.
Meanwhile on the other side of the church laborers and carpenters are installing wall forms in preparation for the last foundation wall pour where the ramp into the basement was previously located.

Goodwill Industries Corporate Headquarters - Peoria, IL
This complete remodel at the Goodwill Industries building on War Memorial Drive is in full swing. Today Summit Masonry laborers were putting up block for the new exterior wall. Inside the building, trenches are being dug to bring in new plumbing. In the parking lot forms are set for pouring new curbs.
